Danny DeVito drunk @ work
http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/12/01/D8LO53TO0.html
So since DeVito is in show business, and part of his job is too promote his movies, wasn't he technically drunk at work? How inappropriate, and unprofessional is that?
What might even be worse are the hosts of the show "The View" and their reaction. They'll tear apart right-wingers who come on who are 'crazy', but simply laugh off DeVito's comments about "wreck[ing] the joint" in reference to sleeping in the White House's Lincoln bedroom. The Lincoln bedroom is not some friend's place to crash at.
I for one won't be seeing another DeVito "hit" - and I use the term hit loosely.Last edited by JoeyMac; 12-01-06 at 04:55 PM. Reason: typo

He isn't a brain surgeon he is an actor, right? So if he shows up a little langered how does that show unproffesionalism. I mean he wasn't being out of hand he wasn't trashing the place telling every to f-off, pissing on the couch, mooning the audience or anything like that was he? He is an actor and a funny one at that. John Belushi was probably one of the best (rest his soul) and he was trashed for everything he did. Did it effect his acting? I don't think so.

I stand by what I said. It is unprofessional for anyone to show up to work drunk (or high, etc) - which he was doing by promoting his movie. To me, it wasn't professional, so that makes it unprofessional. With that said, it isn't something that 'bugs' me where I'll loose sleep over.
The thing which bothered me more was what he said did in the Lincoln bedroom. That is a sacred place in my mind.

It's all Clooney's fault. That bastard can't stay sober anywhere!

I watched The View that morning (don't hold that against me). He was really funny, cute and charming. Who cares if he was on the happy side. He is fun to watch drunk or sober.

He just said what everyone else has done. I don't think it was disrespectful. He was a jolly little drunk man. Who has not done the wild thing in the Lincoln bedroom? Or......would do it if given a chance....make your own history.
