I thought I smelled something rotten.
The ajc.com is reporting:
The Rev. Al Sharpton lent his voice and stature to the Kathryn Johnston shooting Sunday by calling for Congress to hold hearings on police shootings.
Sharpton, who was in town Sunday to preach, made an early-morning stop at Johnston's Neal Street home to view the site where the elderly woman was gunned down by Atlanta police officers on Nov. 21.
Sharpton has been at the forefront of protests after the Nov. 25 killing of 23-year-old Sean Bell, an unarmed father who was shot by police outside of a strip club one day before he was to get married.
Sharpton was in town with Rev. Markel Hutchins, a local activist, who also serves as the spokesperson for the Johnston family.
"Police are serving as judge, jury and executioners of the law," Sharpton said, whether it's an elderly mother in Atlanta or whether it's "50 bullets shot at unarmed men in Queens."

He is a piece of shit. I'd like to see him pin on the badge, and strap on the duty belt, and see what he would have done.

He needs to be caught smoking crack with a hooker.
Oh, wait, that doesn't kill careers anymore.
In that case, he needs a diagnosis of a terminal illness, and I don't mean getting a second opinion of being a chronic shit stirring asshole.

Hey Ducky, although I AGREE 99% of what you stated, you leave a few of us personal, 'Puddin Sticks' alone !! If there is a way of jokingly stirring the pot and having fun and keeping the guys and gals laughing at work, then I AM IN !!
As far as S**TBUM Sharpton is concerned, we almost physically tossed him out of our town but since our Black population didn't pay him any attention, he left crawling weakly away.
You all take care and be safe out there !! Cover over and C.Y.A.

I wouldn't just crawl if I were him, I'd RUN! St. Louis recently made number one on the list for the most dangerous city in the US. You have my undying respect for living there, Mo. Been there once in 1995 and it scared the shit out of me.
Back to Sharpton though, I would like to see him just once get jumped by some South Central Crips, beaten severely about the body, robbed of his expensive clothing and jewelry and made into some banger's bitch. Squeal like a pig!!!!

I love people like Al Sharpton... They sit on the sidelines and watch, then Monday morning quarterback every decision that is ever made on the street.
This just made me think... From what I understand, back in less politically correct days, old Captains at our districts used to keep "Could have Shot" books on file at the station (well before my time)... Basically if an officer had a situation where deadly force was appropriate, but for whatever reason didn't use it, you made an entry in the book. This was their way of demonstrating how many times we had avoided using lethal force when it would have been easily justified... kind of a way to show the community that we aren't out to get everyone, even if we do occasionally have to fire our guns. This practice was officially eliminated long ago, but it was kind of a neat idea in theory (I know I would have had a handful of entries myself).
Yet, I imagine that people like Al Sharpton were still proabably preaching their rhetoric at every justified shoot even back then. Some things never change.

Al Sharpton is a media whore. He's going to go to where the attention is- good or bad.

It wouldnt be so bad if they would occassionaly stand up for the cops when they do right. Or if they also advocated when its another "race" involved. But no its always just like it is now. White against black on things that all the facts havent been laid out yet. Its people like him that keep the racial tension in this country to begin with. If its a bad shoot then punish the officers to the fullest extent of the law. If its a good shoot do you think this scumbag would appologise?? No not at all.
Its people like this that I did wish we could pick and choose who we protect and serve. That way if he ever asked for help in my area I could say, no sorry I cant help you."An Unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it." Jeff Cooper

I have to agree with BigDawg 3533, the people who jump up and down about race are in my opinion the worst racists of all they are both overt and persistant in there condemnation of others not from their own ethnic group. They raise tensions and incite youths to violence under the false pretense of being community leaders or a voice for the oppressed minority.

I saw a little bit of Al speaking at a vigil for the mother. He was making it sound like the police had no reason whatsoever to shoot a grandmother who was shooting at them.
