US Customs seize 600,000 tabs of Ecstacy in Detroit
Feds seize $15 million in drugs at Ambassador Bridge

U.S. Customs agents today reported seizing the club drug Ecstasy and marijuana with an estimated street value of $15 million at the Ambassador Bridge.
"It was a good bust," said Chief Ronald G. Smith of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. "It's not the largest that we've had, but it's up there with them."
Two men who said they were crossing the bridge from Canada with an empty truck were caught with the drugs Tuesday morning, Smith said.
A search found nearly 600,000 Ecstasy pills and about 8.4 pounds of marijuana hidden in the ceiling of the truck's sleeper area, he said.
The driver, a 32-year-old Canadian from North York, and the passenger, a 26-year-old citizen of India from Mississauga, were turned over to Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officers for prosecution, Smith said.dulce et decorum est pro patria mori
