Tragic love triangle?

Don't know if you folks have read this/watched this. Greensboro is about an hour from Raleigh. It seems a female 911 operator has been arrested for the murder of a female graduate student who is the fiance of a Greensboro police officer. Of course I'm wondering if the suspect is an ex, a jealous stalker, or ? I imagine the fiance is devastated. Very sad. The victim appears like she had such a great future ahead of her.

Well, of course all I can do is guess and speculate -- but I can never understand or imagine how folks that do something like this (crime of passion?) think they will get away with it and end up with the guy (or girl). If that is the case.
