Tot Decapitated, Father Arrested in D.C.

RALEIGH, N.C. - A mother found her 4-year-old daughter decapitated in her home, and the child's father was arrested early Saturday in Washington.

Amber Violette called 911 on Friday evening, saying she had found her daughter, Katlin, with her head severed from her body, Clayton Police Chief Glen Allen said.

"It's the most horrific thing I've seen in 13 years of police work," Clayton Sgt. S. P. Lapsley said.

Deputy U.S. marshals arrested the girl's father, John Patrick Violette, in Washington at a hotel near Capitol Hill, Lapsley said. Investigators found Violette's vehicle at Raleigh-Durham International Airport, learned he had taken a flight to Washington, and tracked his credit card to the hotel, Lapsley said.

Police said Violette, 37, would be held in Washington pending an extradition on a murder charge expected to be filed in Clayton, about 15 miles southeast of Raleigh. The U.S. Marshals Service said an extradition hearing is expected to be held Tuesday.

Our local ex police chief just went to Clayton, interestingly. What a tragic thing to have to deal with for all involved.

I live in Michigan too and was completely sickened by the Ricky Holland case. How can people be so fucking cold hearted? I would love to bash that bitch in the head with a hammer and starve her. If anyone else on here has seen a pic. of her, that cow has never missed a meal. I'd also like to put that bitches head under my trucks tire and run over it a few times.

I still do not know the appropriate punishment for this guy and I have read this article an many others.. This case is beyond comprehension.

The only thing I can say is thank god the guy did not take the easy way out and kill himself. He will at the very least still be alive to face charges.

Naw, they got a puss section of jail to put him in along with the child molesters,, he will be among scum company sucking the air that belongs to the decent people of society. He needs to be buried alive so he has a few hours to think about his crime before he suffocates in the dark.

Give him a last meal of beans and a box of matches to keep himself company. He can either die breathing in his own gas or use the matches and suffocate fast.
