This is a small old mill town south east of Pittsburgh. Mostly low class higher crime area....Probably some part-timer cops too.

A Braddock man was charged last night with shooting a gun at a borough police cruiser over the weekend, damaging that vehicle and a few others.

Investigators for Allegheny County and Braddock said Ian Siebert, 21, was apprehended at a residence on Lobinger Avenue in North Braddock.

He is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one firearms violation, police said.

Braddock police Officer William Hensel had been on patrol at 9:38 p.m. Saturday when he drove past a suspect identified as Mr. Siebert standing at the corner of Corey Avenue and Fourth Street.

After passing Mr. Siebert, he heard shots and saw the suspect running away.

Some vehicles parked on Corey Avenue were hit by bullets. A slug was found inside one of the tires of the police car as well, investigators said.

No one was injured in the shooting
