Patriotism Banned in Australia
Organisers of 'The Big Day Out' music festival have released to the national media that no Australian Flags are to permitted at the music festival on Australia day on Jan 26(same as July 4th in the states). Reason for this being organisers are fearful of insulting minority ethnic groups..mainly from middle eastern heritage.. and believe that any patriotism shown may cause tension between those attending.
How you would feel if you were told that you were not allowed to show any form of patriotism on your county's national day??
I for one say..if you have a problem with this, there's a QANTAS flight leaving soon..make sure you are on it. Political correctness gone mad.

I agree, bring it anyway. If you can find an outfit made of a flag then even better, wear it and wave a second flag. If they tried to prohibit 'Old Glory then there would be problems in my neck 'o the woods.
