Suspect spits on, and then threatens to kill and eat West Virginia Officer

A strange string of events in Wheeling early Saturday morning ends with two suspects in custody.

Police said one of the suspects threatened the life of an officer.

Reports said John Berry III was driving his car erratically on Warwood Avenue with Shana Gariepy in the passenger seat.

When police got to the vehicle they said they found prescription drugs, marijuana and a knife inside.

Officers said when the two were placed under arrest, Berry actually spit on an officer several times, then threatened to kill and eat him.

Berry is facing a list of charges including battery of an officer, Gariepy is facing possession and obstruction charges.

I thought pot smokers weren't violent?

They are criminals, criminals are cowards who won't take responsibility for their own actions and therefore try to run away and escape by any means they can.
By assaulting and threatening officers they think we will give them an out by beating them which might lead to the charges being dropped.
Most of us are however not stupid enough to give them what they want.

..and what's worse, is that he'll probably plea to possession, serve absolutly no time, the DA will drop the other charges, and he'll assault more officers in the future.
