9 Arrested in UK 'Terror Plot' Raid

A British Muslim soldier is thought to have been singled out as the target of a terror cell in Birmingham.
Security sources say the gang was going to video him pleading with Tony Blair to pull troops out of Iraq before beheading him. The serviceman, in his twenties, is now under police guard.
The plot was described as a “chilling” attempt to import “Ken Bigley-style” terror methods to Britain.
In Baghdad, Westerners such as Mr Bigley have been shown manacled, blindfolded and dressed in orange jumpsuits.
They were forced to make appeals broadcast on the internet before being murdered by Islamist extremists.
Eight suspects were arrested in raids on 12 addresses in Birmingham’s “balti triangle” early this morning in what the Home Office said was a “major” operation. Seven of those arrested were said to be British-born Muslims and the other a Pakistani. One source said: “This plot represents a staggering new departure in terrorist tactics in the UK.

I don't think it's a staggering departure, I think it shows whats to come. And not just in the UK, but here in the USA, and every other free nation of the world.

These people are just the same as all the other cowards who hide behind the civilian population and use religion or politics as an excuse for violence. Then go on to accuse everyone else of bigoty or racism when they get found out.

Part of the problem is the "ethnic cleansing" and ghettos which are present in many of our large cities where whole communities are brainwashed by "community leaders".

I drove up that road the day before yesterday taking an asian male prisoner into the local station.

After we arrived my partner and I both had the same thoughts.

We were both convinced that someone was about to undo the rear door as we sat in traffic and assist the man to escape.

This area is a ghetto with almost 99% of the people being from the asian sub continent.

The atmosphere as you drive through in your patrol car is very intimidating.

I feel almost certain the areas around here are set to blow in more ways than one!

Hey Motorway Cop, if that's your Asst. Chief Con., on the TV doing the Press Release, has he had a sex change? Sure talks like a girl. I found it hard to hear what he was saying because of my laughing.

In some ways he is, although not my force w/mids is an area I also work on.
He's a boss! having an air of authority is no longer required.
Probably got a sociology degree.
Think he's fairly new everyone at work was laughimg at him as well.
