    This is really sad...So much heartache could have been avoided if these 2 guys had gone to a rifle range, or out in the boondocks to practice firing.

    Heartbreaking.

    A nearby sheriff's office opened their rifle range to the public for just such reasons. No way to know how many of these or similar cases they have prevented by doing so.
