It's better than just letting them go, like we do here. We'd rather spend money on health care for illegal aliens and "mass transit" carnival rides than staffing jails. At least two agencies in Oregon are looking at laying off officers right now.

Holy crap, then one commits a rape, murder, or other serious crime while in this program and they all go whining about why they were let off so easy and not put behind bars, then somehow the "client" ends up suing because they wouldnt have committed the act had they have been properly locked up.No life 'til leather gunna kick some ass tonight.
