Immigration Game Sparks Massive NYC Protest

NEW YORK -- Hundreds came out to protest a game that organizers said is intended to spark debate, while others said it is racist and disgusting.
In the game called "Find the Illegal Immigrant," members of the club present their New York University identification and become immigration agents looking for an illegal immigrant in the crowd. The agent who successfully identifies the illegal immigrant wins a gift certificate.
Fellow students at NYU came out en force Thursday, chanting and marching with signs showing their displeasure. But the club said it is about stoking debate on the issue of illegal immigrants.
At one point, barricades separating the protestors from the organizers came down and brought the two sides together for heated arguments.
No one was hurt.
NYU released a statement that reads: "Our inclination is always to support free speech. Just as one group of students will conduct this so-called game, many others will be expressing their objections by protesting it. At a university, the vigorous exchange of views is something we hope for from engaged students and scholars."

what's the problem. how is this racism. they are a drain on limited resources and we already have to many people that just take from the system without put any in.

What's so hard about that game?
Denton built a special "Day laborer" pravillion where you can go to find dozens of those guys every morning, and most cities have a lot of un-official meeting places for them

I thought this was going to be about a different game.
I just watched a news clip about a company that runs a "Sneak Across the Border" game for wealthy people in Mexico.
They have the disguised Coyote, and fake Border Patrol agents to give them that feeling of being chased.
