Pure, unadulterated nonsense. If you disagree, please tell me why.
Whether you agree or disagree please explain to me how it is chief bureaucrats of police so often side with liberal/fascist gun ban types.
If I recall correctly this woman has a personal tragedy in her family which explains her anti-gun stance, as well as her rise to political office. Sorry for her loss. The issue isn't about her loss.

Well, guess all the gun prices will skyrocket again..
Pretty soon, these assholes will make sure Police can't afford weapons at all...

Who didn't see this coming? I've been waiting for it ever since the last illogical ban expired. I like the PC title "Law Enforcement Protection Act of 2007". Yeah, thanks, but I was fine without your help! IMHO, these types of blanket weapons bans do nothing to prevent violent crime.
Nearly every (if not all) nationally significant office/school/mall/church shootings has involved an individual who either 1) Isn't legally authorized to carry the weapon that was used 2) Isn't old enough to legally have it, or 3) Isn't using a weapon that these bans would impact. So, if the person was already illegally in possession of said weapon, then what effect could we expect by making it illegal twice?
Regardless, I don't see how this type of law would do anything to "protect" the citizens I serve. These guns are just simply not the ones being used by our street thugs. And, even if they were, it doesn't mean that Jack or Jill sportsman/woman shouldn't be able to have one to defend him/herself.
I can go on for hours on this topic, but I think I'll just leave it at this for now!

Don't forget that most of these shooting happen in GUN FREE ZONES.
Thank God the they passed those zones so the criminals fell safe.

ok... if for no other reason... you'd think it would be learned by now, once you open the can of worms, you can't put all the worms back in it =/
let the ban lapse, allowing thousands of folks to get their hands on assault weapons, now "oh shit, what happened"... better enact that ban again...
re-effing-tarded...

Let's ban anything that could conceivably ever hurt anyone. Shoestrings, for example.
Even this is believable these days.

This is a fight we are not going to win. These type of bills are going to keep coming up, and keep getting worse.
And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.

Guys and Gals, I am not sure you realize the gravity of this situation. Make sure you read this very carefully because this is more serious than most realize.
If you notice, which I am not sure that most have or they would have posted, there is comments about weapons that take detachable magazines being banned. This statement is kind of a blanket statement and is intended to be.
That means they can and WILL change or add certain weapons as they are deemed fitting to a detachable magazine style weapon.
Add these to the list:
Glock
Sigarms
All Colt style weapons
All auto loading Rugers
All auto loading S&W
and on and on.
This bitch is crazy! That means that in some cases 100% of a company’s American based business will disappear such as Glock, Sig and Colt. Ruger would get smacked for about 50% or better of their sales.
Then think about the impact that this would have on ammo. What if no companies made revolvers that fired 9mm or 40SW? Why would big ammo companies continue to make so much? Man, I hope people are paying attention to this.STOP RESISTING!!!!

But the important thing is... This makes Hillary Clinton, Carolyn McCarthy, Sarah Brady and all the rest of the short-sighted politician whores feel good about themselves.
That's all we should care about, so what if disarming law-abiding people stops a couple of deaths but causes 10 other deaths due to lack of defenses?
