Jaywalking citation leads to arrest of La. murder suspect

A man taken into custody at a Lemon Grove trolley stop for jaywalking and then signing a false name to a citation later was found to be wanted for murder in Louisiana.
Sheriff officials said Larenzo Dixon, 22, was cited Wednesday near Broadway and Lemon Grove Avenue for crossing an intersection against posted signs directing people to use a crosswalk.
When sheriff deputy Dave Perrapato found out that Dixon signed a false name to a citation, Dixon was jailed. During a followup investigation, it was learned yesterday that Dixon was wanted on outstanding warrants for murder and murder for hire in Louisiana.Molly Weasley makes Chuck Norris eat his vegetables.
