Officers Rescue Man From Burning Car
FAYETTEVILLE -- Two police officers were hospitalized after pulling a man out of burning car early Wednesday morning, according to a police report.
Cpl. Philip Crosby and Cpl. Christopher Denton were treated for smoke inhalation and burns after responding to a one-vehicle accident at Township Street and Gregg Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The two found Sean Barnes, 33, of Lowell trapped inside a burning 2006 Subaru Tribeca, and bent a passenger door open to remove him, according to the report.
The vehicle was destroyed in the fire. Barnes was transported to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock for treatment.
Police are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.

That takes some serious courage to do that when you've got no protection of your own. Here's hoping their injuries were all minor.\\` ` ` ` < ` )___/\
