HEROES AND 'HEROIN' AT BRONX BLAZE
By LARRY CELONA
March 23, 2007 -- He couldn't shake his rescuers' hands - because his were cuffed.
A pair of Bronx cops pulled an unconscious man from a burning SUV, only to arrest him when they found he was carrying about $12,000 worth of heroin, police sources said.
Officers Louis Fiote and Israel Lopez, both 37, were patrolling on Boston Road in Morrisania Wednesday night when they spotted flames shooting from an SUV and Paul Augustinie, 48, slumped inside it.
The cops saved him, but after the FDNY quickly put out the blaze, 1,135 decks of heroin were found inside the vehicle. Another 100 were found in Augustinie's pockets, the sources said.
Augustinie, who was revived at the scene, was charged with possession and sale of a controlled substance near a school.

stuff like this i just find sooo sillyhttp://www.allpoetry.com/Grunts%20Girl
We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
Found blackberry riots and
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion
