Infant Killed While Mother Fleeing Police
WTF was this woman thinking? A trooper said on TV that the baby girl didn't appear to even be buckled in to her car seat during the chase (all straps were unbuckled with no broken parts), and the car seat was installed the wrong direction

Mother Tried to Outrun Police, Authorities Say
POSTED: 6:45 pm CDT April 6, 2007
UPDATED: 12:10 pm CDT April 7, 2007
ALVARADO, Texas -- A 9-month old girl was killed Friday night when she was ejected from the sport utility vehicle her mother was driving while trying to flee authorities.
The chase started in Somervell County and ended when a woman driving a black sport utility vehicle struck the median on the east side of U.S. 67. The SUV came to rest on the west side of the roadway at Interstate 35 West.

Alexxus Riza was thrown from the SUV when it crashed into a concrete median and rolled several times under an Interstate 35 overpass, said Trooper Dub Gillum of the Texas Department of Public Safety. The driver had lost control of the vehicle and struck a traffic light before hitting the concrete barrier, DPS officials said.
Her mother, Aimee Andrea Riza, 36, of Keene, sustained minor injuries. Riza faces manslaughter, evading arrest, resisting arrest and reckless driving charges, Gillum said.
Authorities say it's unclear why Riza wouldn't stop when they tried to pull her over Friday evening. She had no warrants for her arrest, but authorities say she went on to lead them on a chase through two counties.
A motorist had called the Somervell County Sheriff's Department to report a reckless driver on U.S. 67 near Glen Rose. When Riza refused to stop, deputies chased her toward Cleburne, Gillum said.
Cleburne police officers, Johnson County sheriff's deputies and state troopers tailed the SUV, which traveled at speeds of up to 110 mph, Gillum said.
Authorities used spikes, tried to block intersections ahead and backed off the SUV hoping it would slow down. But Riza continued to drive until she crashed, even traveling on the rims after the SUV's tires were deflated, Gillum said.
"She was combative after the crash when they tried to extract her out of the vehicle," he said. "The officers had to wrestle her to get her under control."Last edited by TXCharlie; 04-07-07 at 01:43 PM.

Yeah, blaming the police will no doubt start immediately.
I'm sure the officers feel terrible - If they had known there was a baby in the SUV, they would have broken off the chase, or at least used another tactic - I'm almost positive of that. Who could have guessed?

I wonder what minor offense she was trying to avoid being caught for.

I wonder how many drugs were in her system. Bitch musta been on some major drugs to drive like that with an infant in the vehicle! Especially with the baby not strapped in!
Fu!$ blaming the police. Start with the fact she was idiotic enough to "forget" to strap the baby in. I bet if she was, she wouldn't have been ejected. Someone please make her hang on to the roof of a car, don't strap her down and drive at least 110 mph and then "accidentally" run into a median so the bitch goes flying through the air and hits the ground so hard she breaks every bone in her face! Then maybe she will come close to what the child went through!

Police: Accused Baby-Killer May Face More Charges
Texas state troopers said they will expand their investigation of Aimee Fisher Riza to include possible embezzlement.
Riza is accused of leading police on a 25-mile chase through two counties that ended in Alvarado with a crash that killed her 9-month-old baby Alexis Friday. Police said she may have been embezzling thousands of dollars from the clothing store she managed in Brownwood.

Police said the Riza was driving a Chrysler Aspen that she borrowed for the weekend.
Police also said that Alexis would likely have survived the wreck if she had been in her car seat in the back seat instead of the front passenger seat. A funeral for Alexis will be held on Wednesday in Cleburne.

Yeah... I bet the stupid bitch either thought the jig was up on the embezzlement, and/or possibly she got stopped halfway in committing a murder-suicide, since the infant was just laying on the seat, apparently - That may have been why she was so combative when they arrested her.
Or maybe I'm trying to make sense out of someone who's just got no sense.Last edited by TXCharlie; 04-10-07 at 11:04 AM.

JOHNSON CO., Texas -- New developments have surfaced in Johnson County about the woman whose baby was killed at the end of a high-speed chase with police Saturday.
Sheriff's deputies searched the borrowed SUV Aimee Fisher-Riza wrecked and found $10,000 in cash, checks and jewelry inside.

The department store where Fisher-Riza worked is missing more than $40,000, and police now suspect Riza may have embezzled the money found in the vehicle.
Riza's daughter, 9-month-old Alexxus Riza, is being laid to rest Wednesday.

If that's a photo of her taken after arrest, she doesn't look like a woman who just lost her child, she looks angry because she was caught.

I still cant believe a mother would put her child through something like that. Shows how much she thought of others and how much she thought about herself. She is a sorry exscuse for a human being, hell for an animal for that matter.
