This summarizes a law signed by Alaskan Legislatures...needs to be signed by the Gov to be put into affect

THE TOUGH-ON-MORALS LAW

A crime bill that toughens punishment for a variety of crimes also passed. If Palin signs the bill, it will be:

• A misdemeanor for sex offenders who violate their probation or parole.

• A crime for indecent materials depicting adults to be sent to minors; the previous law made it illegal to send minors such material only if it included depiction of minors.

• Required that people convicted of Internet distribution of indecent material to minors register as sex offenders.

• Imposed a 99-year maximum prison sentence for promoting prostitution.
