TULSA, Okla. -- Tulsa police are looking for a man who's been wearing a diaper inside at least three south Tulsa convenience stores.

The man also exposed himself on at least one occasion to a store employee.

Officers said the man walks into the stores' bathrooms wearing clothes then comes out wearing the diaper.

The man has told some witnesses he's acting on a dare.

Police said the man is white, slender and in his mid 20s.

"Diaper Flasher" strikes again

(BROKEN ARROW, Okla.) June 11 - The "diaper flasher" is at it again. He hit another convenience store, this time in Broken Arrow.

Police say this is the fourth time he's gone into a convenience store restroom in normal clothing and come out wearing a diaper. He has exposed himself twice.

The latest place he hit was a Shell station at 91st and 145th East Avenue.

Police say this man is a serious sex offender but not everyone takes him for one. [Moving from town to town and continuing to do this even after making the news doesn't seem like the actions of a prankster now does it?]

When the flasher hit the store last week, a customer took pictures of the flasher with her cell phone. But police have yet to see those images or hear from her.

Tonight they urge anyone with information to make a call.

When store clerk Kyle Holdman came into work, he was met with a bizarre warning from his boss. “Whe was just cautious about the situation, telling me to look out for him and if I did see him, to call the cops.”

Holdman’s friend was working the night the "diaper flasher" made his latest appearance. “He was just kind of like creeped out by it. The guy went into the bathroom and came back in a diaper. He told him he needed to go find somewhere else to do that.”

Holdman says the story has earned a lot of laughs around the store but Tulsa sex crimes Corporal Mark Mears says its no joke. “You can't help but laugh about a man wearing a diaper in public, but the key part is he's exposing himself.”

Mears says the man is getting to be very bold and soon his actions could become violent. “Some of the people that commit indecent exposures will escalate to commit rapes and lewd molestations. It's very important that we find out who he is.”

Police say the “diaper flasher” has been seen driving a silver Ford Ranger but police still need a tag number. If you see him, try to make a note of it.

Police say the flasher has a distinct hairstyle and is very skinny. They believe he is in his late 20's or early 30's. If you know who the man is call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS. You never have to give your name.
