04:54 PM CDT on Monday, July 16, 2007
From Staff Reports
Carrollton police are asking the public for help in locating a stolen squad car.
The vehicle was noticed missing Friday at Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford in the 1600 block of Interstate 35E. It had been dropped off a day earlier for maintenance, police said.
The fully marked and fully equipped 2007 Ford Crown Victoria, however, did not have a computer or weapons, the police said. The Texas Exempt license plate is 100-3986 and the car also has the unit number, “2234,” behind each rear passenger window. The car is white with black and silver stripes.
Anyone with information was asked to call their local police department or Carrollton police at 972-466-3333.

Wow, That car will be stripped by noon tomorrow!Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!
