Christy Freeman, 37, faces murder charges
in the death of her infant. Police disovered the bodies
of three other children on her property Monday.

OCEAN CITY, Md. — Investigators searching the home of a woman accused of killing her baby discovered the remains of three additional fetuses on the property Monday, the Ocean City Police said.

The first infant was found dead, wrapped in a blanket, inside the home of Christy Freeman, 37, on Thursday after Freeman was admitted to the hospital appearing to have recently given birth. Medical personnel at Peninsula Regional Medical Center notified authorities that the baby was missing.

On Monday, police found a garbage bag inside a truck in Freeman's bedroom. The garbage bag contained three smaller plastic bags. Two of those bags contained infant human remains, while the third contained what investigators believe is a placenta.

Police found another plastic bag containing human infant remains inside a motor home parked in the suspects driveway.

Authorities said the search and excavation of Freeman's backyard could take up to three days.

Freeman lived in the second floor of the building with her boyfriend and her four other children.

After finding the first baby, investigators conferred with Worcester County State's Attorney Joel Todd and Freeman was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder and manslaughter.

Freeman had an initial appearance Friday evening before a district court commissioner. She was expected to have a bond review hearing later Monday

Freeman is the owner of Classic Taxi, Neeb told The Daily Times of Salisbury.
