I have been working for three years to take this sick bastered down and he allways get away with all he does and he is protected by the ACLU,,, On his site he provides links for you to turn him in . some of the links he has goes to other sites were they talk about kids can make up there own minds about having sex and how they love it he is one sick puppy and last i tracked him he was in montana he uses out side servers to hide were he is and the out side servers allow him to hold this web site .

MONTREAL — Montrealers and their police are the latest people to be
alarmed by an American pedophile whose website mentions a coming
Montreal children's festival as a great place to ogle young girls.

The page that mentions the Montreal event is part of a collection of
websites operated in Amsterdam by Lindsay Ashford, an expatriate
former businessman who says he is a pedophile but not a child
molester.

Montreal police said yesterday that the department is investigating
the site and that officers would be present at the festival anyway.

Shutting the site down would be more challenging, however.

In previous years, various groups of citizens in the U.S. have signed
petitions and urged authorities in vain to act against Mr. Ashford's
sites. From local sheriff's offices to the FBI, U.S. law-enforcement
officers have said they cannot act because of the websites' overseas
location and because of their content, which stay in a legal grey
zone and aren't explicitly sexual.

"They're right on the edge," Montreal police Sergeant Ian Lafrenière
said yesterday.

Mr. Ashford ridicules those efforts on his websites, saying that
nothing he puts online is illegal and egging people on to send
complaints to police.

Cracking down on such websites can be challenging, said RCMP
Superintendent Earla-Kim McColl of the National Child Exploitation Co-
ordination Centre.

"We're not the thought police," she said, noting that many sites
never explicitly break the law while at the same time validating
pedophilia.

Montreal appears on one of Mr. Ashford's Web pages, which asks
visitors to suggest events where one can gaze at girls.

The city's Fête des enfants, which draws more than 200,000 people
yearly, is praised because "there are always plenty of little girls
at this event." The festival is highly rated, with five hearts,
meaning it is "top-notch," but the listing cautions that the event is
a family affair so a single man would draw suspicions.

Parry Aftab, an American lawyer who specializes in cybercrime, said
standard criminal statutes are ineffective against such sites.

Ms. Aftab, who often collaborates with Canadian child-protection
groups, suggested using other laws. For example, since Mr. Ashford
encourages children to contact him, he should be cited for
contravening U.S. privacy laws, she said.

She also mentioned using copyright laws. On his site, Mr. Ashford
offers a heart-shaped logo that girls can download. He called it a
symbol of friendship.

The logo looks so similar to that of Heartbrand ice cream that its
maker, Unilever, sent a lawyer's letter asking for the removal of the
symbol, a demand Mr. Ashford has so far ignored.

On his site, he also encourages young girls to link their personal
websites to his with a banner titled "Sugar and Spice." Some adults
have "a heightened appreciation for the physical and spiritual beauty
of young girls," he says on one page for visiting young girls. "A
true girl lover would never do anything to hurt a young girl."

Elsewhere, Mr. Ashford has tribute pages to missing girls or girls
who were murdered.

The accolades include pages for missing Canadian girls such as Tamra
Keepness of Regina, Casey Rose Bohun of Vancouver and Jolène Riendeau
of Montreal, and for murdered Canadian girls such as Cecilia Zhang of
Toronto and Jessica Grimard of Montreal.

Mr. Ashford is variously described as living in France or the
Netherlands. While his site operates out of Amsterdam, Ms. Aftab said
he might be in the U.S.

Mr. Ashford didn't reply to queries sent by The Globe and Mail.

Oh, I dont even know where to start. This man needs to be taken out. The fact that he can talk so open about his "sexual orientation" like its ok to be that way... My skin is crawling...
