Burglars Unable To Crack Safe, Take Beer Instead

GARLAND, Texas -- Garland police are looking for the culprit behind an overnight robbery.
Police said the burglars broke into a Diamond Shamrock in the 4000 block of Walnut Street at about 3:45 a.m. Friday.
The burglars broke a large glass window and scattered merchandise across the floor, according to police. They went into the coolers and stole beer after they were unable to break into the safe and registers.
No one was injured during the incident.
