2 Officers injured during pursuit!
EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Warrensville Heights, OH - Two police officers are recovering this hour - after a dangerous, high-speed chase lands them in the hospital.
The pursuit started around 3AM after the officers noticed a driver going the wrong way on Miles Road.
The driver refused to stop - forcing police to take action.
However, things quickly went wrong when the officers hit a median, crashed into another car before slamming into a pole.
Both officers were trapped in their cruiser - which was completely destroyed in the accident.
Veteran cop Aric Pruitt was behind the wheel - he suffered head and neck injuries and had to be life-flighted to Metro.
Pruitt remains in critical condition.
His partner - rookie officer Bob Ellis - had to be cut from the cruiser before emergency officials loaded him into a life-flight helicopter.
Ellis is hospitalized at MetroHelath with a broken pelvis and dislocated hip and has been upgraded to fair condition.
The suspect - 33-year-old Saul Nolan - ditched his car at the Shell Station at Miles & Northfield before fleeing to his mother's house.
Nolan was later arrest at the home on E. 142nd after his mother called and turned him in.
The 19 Action News chopper capturing the exclusive video of Nolan's arrest - who is no stranger to the law.
Nolan has a previous drug conviction as well as two outstanding warrants.
An innocent civilian - Namir Spratt - was also injured during the pursuit and was taken to Hillcrest Hospital.
The Maple Heights man is currently in the hospital's ICU

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for these two brave men, and that Ohio has a strict and viable felony law which applies to the suspect's directly contributing to their injuries.
