That guy better quit making all that noise or he'll come up missing.
It isn't whats good for the environment, it's what's good for the economy.
Flood the market with those vehicles without the oil companies and all related business being diverse in that market and you'll hear the whinning. And that ain't gonna happen.

Wonder what states fall under that, and if you can just go to one of those states to buy one. Although 32 mpg isn't really THAT good for gas mileage, I get almost that in my stock 95 Mitsu Eclipse.

Mitsubishi's are good. I used to have a Mirage that got 35. Better than my Focus.

I gathered that it wasn't so much the mileage they get but the fact that they are good for emissions. One part of the article said that they put out less than a lawn mower..
