Too sexy to fly? Young woman takes on airline
Eyewitness News
(San Diego - WABC, September 7, 2007) - A woman is taking on an airline Friday, claiming she was forced off a flight because of what she was wearing.
Twenty-three year-old Kyla Ebbert says she was escorted off a Southwestern Airline plane two months ago because a supervisor thought mini-skirt was too short.
Ebbert, a Mesa College student and Hooters waitress, was allowed to stay on the plane, but only after she put up a fight and, she says, was lectured on how to dress properly.
She says she was given a blanket to cover her legs. Ebbert says she was humiliated, but has not said if she will take legal action.

I bet that supervisor was a female and probably was jealous of her looks

Meh....she was told to pull her tube-top up, and her mini-skirt down.
You know if it happened on Southwest, it had to be pretty slutty looking.
I'm betting she was also ala Britney/Lindsey....

Either the supervisor was gay or a 200 lb female that could double for one of the Bears offensive linemen.

Too sexy to fly? Young woman takes on airline
As fellow law enforcement officers we really need to know some more details here:
-did another passenger bitch to the Southwest employee or did he truly come up with this himself?
-was she wearing anything under that skirt?
In all seriousness, I haven't ever had to take a call like that or really anything similar. I mean are there really any communities left in the US where they are going to enforce anything related to attire? Can you imagine being the cop getting sent to say a supermarket on a call. Kind of like this, "Excuse me Miss, we received a complaint that you weren't wearing a bra underneath that T-shirt and people noticed that while you were in the frozen foods section."
Let's face it, there is clearly a double standard and everyone knows it. Some attractive young lady shows her stuff and we allow it and love it. Some guy does that and he is a sexual predator.
It reminds me of a story when I was in college, it may have been urban legend, but it was funny at the time. We had an Arabic political science professor that liked to lecture, but he, too, could be distracted by temptations. Supposedly right in the middle of a lecture to a bunch of undergraduate students, he stopped, looked right at a young lady wearing a skirt and said, "Miss Sands, will you please close your legs..." and then continued his lecture. My roommate at the time swore up and down that the young lady turned very red, but did indeed close her legs.
Since I am digressing, earlier this week I ran a woman on our CAD system and she came back as a sexual predator. The surprising thing was she was young and quite attractive. I don't think I had ever seen a young attractive sexual predator before then.

The problem here is that there was no "stuff" showing. It was what I see as a normal skirt. Shoot, I see kids at the mall or at schools with smaller clothes than this. Where does the airline staff get off (pardon the pun) telling someone how to dress? If she showed up ion a bikini, as inappropriate for flying as it may be, the important parts are covered and there is no complaint in my opinion. What are we going to have next? TSA employees with a ruler to make sure the skirts are long enough to get through the security checkpoint?? GEEZZZ

I saw the girl's interview on the Today Show this week. She was wearing the same outfit she allegedly wore that day on the flight. You are right in that her attire is quite common place these days. She looked like a Paris Hilton clone. It was funny when she went to sit down 'cause there was a quick panty shot. What got me was that her mother said she didn't think the skirt was too short!!!The true measure of your character is what you choose to do when you think no one is looking.

So what i don't get is, if Term decided to wear his daisy duke outfit on the plane, he is offending other passengers?

I never knew there was a dress code to ride the planes

I always get stuck next to annoying fat people when I fly. Why can't I get sandwiched between a couple hooters girls with obscenely short skirts?! Hell with first class, I'd pay extra for those tickets!
