Boy Drives Family's SUV Through Garage Door
MADISON, Wis. -- Apparently, two young brothers would rather drive an SUV than ride a tricycle.
A 4-year-old and 2-year-old managed to engage their parents' SUV this week, knocking it through the garage door of their Madison home.
Neither child was injured, but police said that the incident damaged the SUV, a second vehicle in the garage and the home.
The parents apparently kept the SUV keys on a bedroom shelf. The 4-year-old showed officers how he was able to reach the shelf by climbing on a nearby storage cabinet.
He then demonstrated how he was able to get into the SUV, put the keys in the ignition, start the vehicle, step on the brake and put the gearshift in drive.
The mother heard the crash on Tuesday morning. She ran outside and turned off the SUV before pulling the boys out safely.
I learned very quickly with my two year old that no matter how well you hide it or lock it up, he will still find it or get to it.
Just a reminder, if a 4 year old can steal the keys and get the a car running, then they can probably pull the trigger on a gun. Make sure your guns are locked up, and stay safe

I'm glad they didn't hurt themselves or anyone else.
I wonder where they'd planned to go?
