Our Sheriff frowns on offduty corrections carrying weapons. Although the state okays it, the sheriff will not condone it. Maybe someone should send this video to him.

If the State approves it he don't have much to say about it unless he wants a big lawsuit against him personally.

Not if it is in his Policy and Procedures. I think the state includes a disclaimer of County Sheriff's descretion or something like that. It is one of those "grey areas" in the law.
