Lab tech charged with having sex with a corpse
Allegedly had sex with a 92-year-old woman in the hospital's morgue

(Teaneck-WABC, Oct. 30, 2007) - In New Jersey, a hospital lab technician is under arrest, charged with a gruesome crime. Police say he had sex with the body of a 92-year-old woman in the morgue.
Eyewitness News reporter Lauren Defranco is live at Holy Name hospital in Teaneck with more.
The part-time lab technician at Holy Name Hospital is charged with this disturbing and unimaginable crime -- having sex with a corpse.
24-year-old Anthony Marino arrested was arrested at the hospital on Sunday. He is accused of having sex with the body of a 92-year-old woman.
Police say Marino asked a security guard for access to the morgue. The guard notified Teaneck police after witnessing the crime.
Marino is a part-time worker at Holy Name. He has his own myspace page in which he claims to be a sports enthusiast, who loves football, martial arts and partying.
We are told, he was employed full-time at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, A spokesperson for Holy Name released a statement saying:
"This heinous crime is travesty...we are horrified and saddened for the family of the patient and are completely apathetic and sympathetic to them."
Marino is charged with desecrating human remains. If convicted he faces a maximum of 10 years in prison.
