COLUMBUS, Ohio -- An officer from Warren County made an incredible arrest at the Ohio Statehouse Wednesday, reported NewsChannel5 news partner ONN.

The lawman was testifying before the Ohio Senate on a bill that would increase penalties for sexual predators who meet their victims online.

The officer left the hearing after telling reporters that he had arranged a meeting with a sexual predator in the basement and was going to make an arrest.

He said he spent a year talking to the man while posing as a female teen.

After leaving the hearing, he made the arrest in the basement of the statehouse, arresting a 48-year-old New Albany man named Barry Minster.

Guess this guy really drove home his point after the testimony. Some of these suspects amaze me with their stupidity and boldness.

boldness is one thing. stupidity is another. the combination of the two obviously makes for friggin MORONS.

I disagree with the Officer though. I don't think we should make punishments any more strict for pedo's who meet their victims online.

No matter how they meet them, the pedo's are taking away their innocence, amongst many other things. they should ALL get a bullet in the back of the head, after getting their nuts cut off and fed to them.
