SAN DIEGO The remains found in a Ramona back yard have been identified Tuesday as the missing wife of the man arrested last week for her murder.

Toby Turner, who was 44 years old when she was reported missing two years ago, died as a result of homicidal violence, an investigator with the Medical Examiner's Office said.

Her husband, Keith Turner, 58, was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of killing his wife, Sheriff's Sgt. Roy Frank said.
Investigators obtained information that Turner had been killed before she was reported missing, Frank said. After taking Keith Turner into custody detectives obtained a search warrant for him home on Oak Springs Drive near Oakley Road and found the remains later that same afternoon.

Turner is being held on first degree murder charges with no bail.
