Yay Coast Guard!
As some of you know, Washington and parts of Oregon were hit by a massive storm with hurricane force winds on the coast and rains inland that measured between 4 and 13 inches, depending on the location.
The local news has some great video and photos of the Coast Guard rescue effort, which is also being undertaken by the King, Pierce, and Snohomish County Sheriff's Office Air units.

The Coasties and Sheriff's Air Units burned a lot of Jet-A but rescued many, many folks with no other way out. A fantastic job by these great guys and gals.
I would like my country back. I used to believe that one man could never destroy this country. Not so sure anymore!
