ATLANTA - A police officer's husband has been ordered held without bail on a federal pornography charge in a case that prosecutors say involves photos of sex with minors dating back to 1999.
An indictment issued late Tuesday charges Terrill Crane, 47, with photographing a minor engaged in sexual activity.
He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted, said Patrick Crosby, spokesman for U.S. Attorney David Nahmias.
Federal authorities say the Atlanta Police Department, where Crane's wife is a sergeant, had some of the pictures seven years ago but took no action.
Crane's lawyer, Don Samuel, did not contest Crane's detention at a brief hearing Wednesday before a federal judge magistrate, but said he might apply for bail later.
Crane's wife, Tanya, has been accused of destroying potential evidence she found in her home and is on paid administrative leave, but currently faces no charges in the case.Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence.

Whoops!
I sense the end of a career coming.
Car 4I would like my country back. I used to believe that one man could never destroy this country. Not so sure anymore!
