Shot fired at Officer's home
LAKEWOOD: Police seek public’s help after shot fired at officer’s house
Lakewood police are looking for the public’s help in solving a shooting at an officer’s house earlier this month.
Someone fired a shot at a house in the area of Mount Tahoma High School on Dec. 8 between 10 and 11 p.m. Witnesses heard a loud noise, then found that a bullet had hit a sliding glass door in the back of the house.
The home is owned by a police officer. His wife and a small child were home at the time. They were only feet away from where the bullet hit, according to a Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers bulletin.
Investigators are still trying to figure out whether the house was targeted or if the shooting was random.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and charges filed in the shooting. Callers remain anonymous. Reach Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959.

Lucky for the idiot that shot at the house he wasn't home. I'm sure I'm not alone in saying it would have been "Shock and Awe" time had he been home.
