    Real Pot Head

    MARIJUANA BUST
    GALLUP, N.M. (AP) - One state inspector didn't look too hard for evidence of pot smuggling. It hit him in the head -- literally. According to authorities in New Mexico, an officer with the state Motor Transportation Division was conducting a routine truck inspection. While he was inside the tractor trailer rig, a box with about 50 pounds of marijuana bricks fell on his head. The truck was supposed to be carrying beauty products. Officials say the truck had 50 boxes that contained more than 2,500 pounds of the illegal weed. Authorities put the value of the illicit cargo at more than $6 million. The pot has been turned over to the feds. Officials haven't decided if the driver will be charged.

    Why turn it over to the feds? They couldn't lead a two car funeral procession without screwing it up, getting a prosecutor involved and making the corpse go on the witness protection program.
