Ok the ground really did just move for me! I've just experienced my first earthquake. Magnitude of 4.7. Ok that's my excitement for the evening!Never approach a bull by the front, a horse from behind, or an idiot from any direction.

The noise was amazing, it was so loud, and because we don't normally get earthquakes, it wasn't something I was expecting!
I never moved (unlike my house) I just sat at the computer still logged in to O/R! Just had to realign my chair to the screen when it was all over!Never approach a bull by the front, a horse from behind, or an idiot from any direction.

we had one here a couple years back, rattled the glasses a little but that was it. I thought at first it was a jet coming over at very low altitude, but it just kept going and going. Kind of neat, although I wouldn't have been laughing if anything had broken.\\` ` ` ` < ` )___/\

I was on night shift and traveling between areas in the car so didn't feel a thing. You knew which lazy cops were in the nick as they all knew about it before the public started calling to inform us"all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing" Edmund Burke.
"the world is a dangerous place place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who do not do anything about it" Albert Einstein
