Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick

I don't know if anyone outside of the Detroit area has been following the stories regarding Detroit's mayor, but things have been "interesting" to say the least.

This guy is a complete thug. There is no other way to put it. If this guy doesn't define crooked politician, I don't what does. Yet the people of Detroit have voted him back into office and still support him. I don't get it.

I found and great interactive article from detnews.com that highlights some very questionable incidents involving the Mayor. There are truly too many questionable incidents to even know where to begin.

yeah....screw Detroit if they are stupid enough to keep voting him in.

Of course, there have been some not so subtle hits about ballot stuffing (not that a man as honorable as Kwame would do that!)

It makes me sick to see what he's done to that city. He's always been a thug and all of his friends are thugs. He needs to man up to what he's done and resign.

I know a few people who used to be close to Kwame and over the years all of them realized what kind of lowlife, no-class, criminal thug he is and have deliberately distanced themselves from him, one to the the extent that when Kwame saw him at the auto show charity event, Kwame greeted him by name, extended his hand, and this person just averted his eyes and walked away. He said that although he hadn't seen or spoken to Kwame in many years, he didn't want to risk his own reputation by being seen or photographed having even the slightest interaction with him.
