Mike Huckabee is dropping out of the presidential race.
The former Arkansas governor is withdrawing after John McCain clinched the nomination by getting 1,191 delegates.
Huckabee was the Arizona senator's chief remaining rival

Damn.
I guess I'll be voting for McCain now. If anything, maybe this helped his potential presidential candidacy for next time, or helped him secure a spot with McCain somewhere if he wins.

I actually think a McCain/Huckabee ticket could be fairly electable amongst not just conservatives, but also moderates and independents. I'd take it as a consolation. Originally Posted by 213th
