Police: Mom forces son's hands into boiling pot
Neither the mother nor the father should be breathing the same air as the rest of us. Jail is too good for them. Torture them slowly and then send them 6ft. under.

My heart goes out to the child.
EASTON, Pa. (AP) - June 10, 2008 (WPVI) -- Police say a woman forced her 11-year-old son to put his hands into boiling water as punishment for telling a social worker about his abusive father.
Thirty-year-old Yanira Arias-Ortiz of Easton is charged with aggravated assault and other offenses.
Police say Arias-Ortiz was punishing her son for telling a social worker that his father was living with them in violation of a court order. The man had previously been charged with beating his son.
Arias-Ortiz allegedly ordered the boy to put his hands in a pot of water on the stove and keep them there until the water boiled.
Authorities say the boy was treated for his injuries and is in the custody of Northampton County Children and Youth.
His mother is jailed on $25,000 bail. It's not clear if she has a lawyer.

Sounds like this woman has issues. She possibly has had this done to her, so she knows no different. It also appears that she is enabling the abusive father or an abuser herself. Time for jail, dear.

That's absolutely terrible. Hearing about that kind of thing makes me sick to my stomach. How a person could hurt a child, let alone their own flesh and blood will never be understood by me. And that poor kid. I just hope that he turns out alright.
Life is a succession of lessons which must be lived to be understood.

What the hell is wrong with some ppl. Any one in there right mind would see this as torture and not punishment. I hope they throw her ass in prison.

Sick, it just makes me sick to think of this poor child being tortured. I would love 5 minutes with this scumbag and let her try the same thing on someone her own size, just 5 minutes! Give her a little bit of her own punishment. And then on top of that to possibly purpetuate the abusive tendencies on to the child, just sick.
My dad, I miss him every day.
