No Town Hall Forums
I find it most interesting that Obama refuses to go head to head with McCain in the unscripted town hall format. I have a feeling that if he doesn't have a prescripted speech, he does have good speech writers, that people will see him for what he really is, which isn't much.

He's a talking head. He always has been. He keeps saying "change"....but you ask him what that change is and he doesn't say. Sad thing is.......I think McCain is crazy as a shithouse bat. But he is the lesser of both evils.

McCain went through years of hell in Hanoi. If he's a bit different, he earned it. He got special treatment because his dad was CINCPAC. He kept the Faith in the Nation, and refused repatriation ahead of the other POWs. He upheld the meaning of three words: "Duty, Honor, Country", not to mention loyalty.
The other guy knows how to demand. He has trouble with the word "change", unless the Politburo authorizes it. He's an empty suit.
I fear we have not seen the last of Hillary and Bill this year. When the media isn't slobbering all over them, they're up to no good. Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.-- Anonymous
Old People, like me, may not be around to witness the destruction of our Nation. The rest of you may not survive the collapse. We all have the sworn duty to prevent it.
