Nevada HP Sergeant charge with DUI/drugs in fatal accident
Another black mark for LE. This guy, if he is found guilty, is going to pay big time. Using MJ and then driving into the back of another vehicle - killing an occupant - is so unacceptable. How rediculous!
Read the Declaration of Warrant:A man trusted to uphold the law is now accused of breaking it. Nevada Highway Patrol Sergeant Edward Lattin is accused of being under the influence of marijuana when he caused a deadly crash last month.
At first it was thought he had suffered a diabetic shock, but now he faces serious charges.
After that tragic accident, the trooper told police he wanted to be tested. There was no alcohol in his blood, but when it came to drugs, tests show he was under the influence.

How much weed does it take to whack someone out like that? How much was in the sample? Why would he ask to be tested if he knew he was going to come up positive? Weed clouded mind? Tragic, all around.
