It is morons like this who make other LEO look bad! It is not like we don't get enough bad press! This jerk thinks his badge is a pass to free goods and privileges. It is a different story if it is offered but to be demanded, what a jerk!

I did notice that he is brass. Even when I go to a diner and they wave the bill or do a discount I ALWAYS leave enough money to cover the entire bill plus tip. If they decide it only applies as a tip that is up to them. I want no one being able to say that I took a gratuity.

When I worked in Florida we would all go for breakfast after shift. The waitress would bring the bill and it already was discounted 50%. We would always pay what the full price was and then some. If anyone accused us of taking a gratuity we could point out that the amt we left covered the original menu price plus.
