Fayetteville, N.C. — A multiagency investigation into a bank-robbery plot led to the arrest of four Fort Bragg soldiers and a Fayetteville woman Friday.
The five had planned to use weapons in the robbery of Fort Sill National Bank, 6243 Yadkin Road, Suite 102, Fayetteville police said. The bank is in a strip mall about two-thirds of a mile from Fort Bragg.
Fort Bragg spokesman Tom McCollum said that five people were arrested on a felony charge of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon:
Pvt. 1st Class Preilinson Conner, 20; Tajia Conner, 19; Pvt. E2 Justin Roberson, 22 – all three of 1602 Rim Road; along with Pvt. 1st Class Louis Rodriguez, 20, and Pvt. 1st Class Raymond Wojcik.
All four soldiers are members of the 101st Chemical Detachment based at Fort Bragg, McCollum said.
Fayetteville police said that Preilinson Conner, Tajia Conner and Roberson were being held at the Cumberland County Jail under separate $10,000 bonds Saturday. Officers said Rodriguez had been moved from jail but could not specify where. Jail officials did not have records on Wojcik.
The suspects were arrested after multiagency investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Fort Bragg Criminal Investigations Division, federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Fayetteville Police Department.

Thats what happens when you relax the standards for entry to make an "All volunteer Army".It takes 16 felony's and 3 murders to be rejected.

Two years ago, we had two Rangers from the 75th at Ft. Lewis and two of their buddies do a takeover style bank robbery. Witnesses got that plate. One Ranger, who was a Canadian citizen, fled to Canada.
Sadly, not that uncommon these days.

They don't call that place fayettenam for nothing. I was at Fort Bragg during two seperate incidents that made national news so it doesn't surprise me a bit.
