This is news that is good to hear.
BULLSHIT!!!But Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said the new rule was a mistake.
"The Reagan-era rules have stood the test of time and make our national parks safe for all who visit them," Feinstein said. "The Bush administration changes will make our national parks more dangerous and will upset the delicate balance that exists between park visitors and wildlife."
Feinstein is another typical liberal California idiot politician with her head in the sand.

Lets See, National Park, hiking in the woods, a Large Furry Bear happens by to say hi before chomping on you for lunch, I would like to have a gun with me.....
You have to regulate it strongly but I think it would be fine. Huge penalties for killing wildlife for no reason if caught, and other penalties for other things and everything would be good to goSomebody Please, what the hell is that smell?

I hope that includes Corps of Engineers lake parks - It used to piss me off to no end that I couldn't legally drive to the lake or go boating while armed, even though I had a CHL.
It should also apply to Post Offices - It's stupid that CHL holders who exercise their rights can't even check their mail.
As part of the government, the 2nd amendment should apply to Federal property most of all, because the whole purpose of the Constitution is to restrict the Federal Government's power - Makes no difference whether it's Federal property or not, the Constitution still applies.
