One of My Former Sgts. Hit by Vehicle While on Traffic Stop
He left our department for Rochester a few years ago. Sounds like he's doing ok.

Rochester Cop Struck While Helping Motorist
ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) ― A Rochester, Minn. police officer is recovering after being struck while helping a motorist who had slid into the ditch.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 37-year-old Yemane Berhane suffered a non-life-threatening injury when he was struck Sunday night.
Berhane had parked on the shoulder of U.S. 52 to help some people whose car had slid off the highway. The patrol says another driver lost control on the ice and struck the squad car, pushing it into Berhane.
The other driver was not hurt.
