A 24-year-old man was arrested and jailed after allegedly exposing himself to his neighbors.

A 48-year-old woman woke up at 3 a.m. Sunday to the sound of knocking at the door of her apartment at 1215 Arapahoe Street, said Officer Katie Flood. She recognized Matthew Hill, who lives in the same complex, and opened the door.

Hill said he needed to talk because he had just broken up with his girlfriend, Flood said. The woman told police she noticed Hill’s penis hanging out of his pants, so she told him to go home. The woman said Hill knocked on her door again at 6 a.m., but she did not answer.

Later that day, the woman learned Hill had knocked on several other neighbor’s doors as well, Flood said. A 62-year-old woman said Hill knocked on her door at 2:45 a.m. and asked her if she wanted to have a threesome. Hill also allegedly knocked on another man’s door, but that man did not answer. And at 8 a.m., a 44-year-old woman was returning to her apartment when she said Hill yelled at her and showed her his exposed penis.

Hill was arrested and jailed on suspicion of two counts of indecent exposure, Flood said.
