Man accused of making threats, attacking officers
A 47-year-old Marshfield man accused of assaulting corrections officers and using feces to write a threat to a judge will have a preliminary hearing Monday.
At 5:25 p.m. June 2, Michael B. Stockman -- who was being held in the Wood County jail in Wisconsin Rapids on a $500 cash bond for a felony marijuana possession charge -- started smearing excrement all over the wall and covered himself with it from head to toe, according to the criminal complaint. Feces and water began seeping under the door of the cell and into the hallway.
When a corrections officer ordered Stockman to place his hands through an open tray slot to get handcuffed, Stockman threw a pair of underwear drenched in urine and feces through the slot, striking the officer's arm, wrist and shirt, the complaint said.Stockman charged at officers after they opened the cell door, and a stun gun had no effect on him, according to the criminal complaint. He pulled one officer to the ground and covered him in excrement.
Wisconsin Rapids Police Department and Wood County Sheriff's Department personnel assisting the corrections officers ordered Stockman to stop and lay on the ground, but he didn't obey, according to the complaint. When two deputies simultaneously used stun guns on Stockman, he fell to the ground, and authorities eventually secured him.
The cell was covered in excrement, urine and vomit, and on the wall, Stockman had written "Judge Potter Slacker dies" in feces, the complaint said.
It took jail staff members a day to clean out the cell, and they had to repaint the walls.
No officers were seriously injured, Wood County Sheriff's Department Lt. Dave Laude said.
Stockman faces a maximum of 29 years in prison for threatening a judge, two counts of battery by a prisoner, felony bail jumping, throwing bodily fluids at public safety workers, criminal damage to property and resisting an officer. Wood County Circuit Court Judge James Mason set a $1,000 cash bond for Stockman during an initial appearance Thursday. Monday's preliminary hearing will be in front of Wood County Circuit Court Judge Edward Zappen Jr.

That is just sick. Very sick. He got 29 years for it, including threatening a judge.http://www.odmp.org/officer/16551-de...l-eron-shannon
Police Officers put themselves at risk for strangers every day. Some do not make it home to their families. Next time you think of saying something negative about the police, remember...YOU are one of the strangers.

Why the hell does the jail staff have to clean it out? Make some prisoners selected at random clean it out, and tell them that they'll have to move in there until it's clean.
Eventually the other prisoners will get fed up with it, and whip his ass.
No wait... Then a lawyer will sue the system and the system will settle out of court like a wet noodle, making the lawyer and prisoner rich- Never mind.
