WTF! House holds moment of silence for MJ
The House of Representatives held a moment of silence Friday morning to mark the passing of legendary singer Michael Jackson.
"His heart couldn't get any bigger, and yesterday, it arrested," said Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. "I come to the floor today on behalf of a generation to thank God for letting all of us live in his generation and in his era."
From cnn.com, they have a video link of it

You're surprised? These are the same idiots that just days ago "officially apologized" for slavery.

well, maybe not so much on behalf of any young child that was molested by him...
i fucking hate michael jackson. they have a moment of silence for this creep, and ill bet 100,000 truly good people who lived honest hard working lives also died that day and they dont give a fuck. my tax dollars pay for your time assholes, dont waste precious moments on this load that should have been swallowed.in the warriors code there's no surrender, though his body says stop, his spirit cries...NEVER. deep in our souls, a quiet ember, knows its you against you, its the paradox that drives us all. its a battle of wills, in the heat of attack, its the passion that kills, and victory is yours alone.

hey, uh, you know, ive been meaning to tell you, im not very good at this, but uh, well, here it goes...im just gonna lay it out there...you know that whole slavery thing? well, uh, were sorry bout that. no hard feelings? we good? ok cool. (fist bump)
what about all of the human trafficking and white slavery that is still going on today? especially in prostitution rings. can i get an apology for that?in the warriors code there's no surrender, though his body says stop, his spirit cries...NEVER. deep in our souls, a quiet ember, knows its you against you, its the paradox that drives us all. its a battle of wills, in the heat of attack, its the passion that kills, and victory is yours alone.

You know, I 'll have to agree with you on that. I have some African-American friends and co-workers that are sick and tired of the slavery issue that members of their own race seem to want to bring up all the time. They tell me that slavery as it pertains to them ended over 150 years ago, the time is now and it is time for people to start making something of themselves and to quit crying over something that happened to their ancestors. "The Man" isn't keeping them down, they themselves are. (fist bump, you feel me
)
Mind you I live in a conservative part of CA. It might be different else where.
As fer as human trafficking and white slavery goes, I sure wish we could, but not holding my breath.

Wonderful......
SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

You're looking at this all wrong, son. Wrong I say! [/foghorn leghorn]
Instead of a moment they should have dedicated their complete attention to MJ just as the media has done.
Had the House followed that course they wouldn't have had time to vote in favor of Cap and Trade.
Let me know when the autopsy results are in on the Fourth Estate.

Ya know, they idolize a wacko who slept with little boys (who ain't his) but chastize a Governor who sleeps with a women (who he ain't married to). Strange. Both ain't kosher, but whats worst?

Are you fekkin' serious???? You don't know that taking advantage of children is horribly different than two consenting adults having sex? While adultery is obviously frowned upon, it certainly is not as sick as an adult having sexual contact with a child. Or several children....

Freakin' ridiculous. It pisses me off that all these people are coming out and saying what a great guy he was. Sure, his music was good, but as a person, his mama should have let him be a stain.

Are they going to have a moment of silence for Billy Mays? The one who helped us all discover our mute buttons for commercials.
There’s a promise I need you to make
While I’m gone you take care of the love
And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right
Just care for your children and sleep tight
I’ll keep you safe on my watch tonight
