Teen Eggs Cop Car With Cop In It.....high speed chase ensues

An 18-year-old Willow Street man threw an egg at and struck a state police cruiser early today in Strasburg Borough, state police said.

The police car was occupied.
Daniel Scott Barr of 343 Nolt Ave., Willow Street, then drove along Route 896 in excess of 100 mph to try to get away from the pursuing officer, police said.
After a 1.8-mile chase, police stopped his car shortly after 1 a.m. along Bachmantown Road in East Lampeter Township.
Barr had four passengers in his car, including an 18-year-old and three minors. He was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and other offenses.
