Man impaled on shop window dies
A man died when he was impaled on a large shard of glass after throwing a woman through a shop window during a row in London's West End.
The 30-year-old smashed through the window in Great Marlborough Street, off Regent Street, in the early hours.
Witnesses told police he hurled the woman against the window of the Banana Republic shop up to three times, before both fell through.
The man died at the scene and the woman suffered non life-threatening injuries.
"When officers arrived at Great Marlborough Street, they found a male, believed to have gone through the window of a shop," said a Metropolitan Police spokesman.
"A woman was also found at the scene, suffering cuts."
A post-mortem examination will be carried out on the man in "due course", he said.

Knowing Britain now-a-days there will be new legislation mandating safety glass in all windows.

People in or around glass houses shouldn't throw stones, or other people in this case.
